Installation instructions
- Reading the detailed installation instructions, provided with your unit is essential.
- Not every manufacturer or model have the same connection points. The installation diagrams that are provided with all our modules are supplied specifically for your vehicle. If you have any concerns, think you may have purchased the incorrect system or simply are unsure of sensor location, please contact support.
- Open the bonnet, remove the keys and wait for 5 minutes for the system to power down. Modern ECUs stay active for a period of time to depower the system. If during this period you begin disconnecting sensors then an engine light will appear on your dash as the system has detected an open circuit. If this occurs then please dont panic. Contact support we can help you resolve this.
- As an example, a typical common rail diesel system. Disconnect the pressure sensor wiring plug. The plug will have a locking clip. Make sure to depress or lift this locking mechanism before pulling on the plug.
- Connect your SW DIESEL connector to the rail pressure sensor. The remaining free connector should be connected to the previously removed plug of the original wiring loom. This completing the circuit.
- This process will have to be repeated 2,3,4 or 5 times depending on the Manufacturer and Model of your vehicle. Boost, Camshaft, injector and in some models a battery voltage. Remember there should never be a loose connection.
- Please mount unit securely to a shock resistant area, making sure all wiring is secure. please do not attach directly to the fire wall. As with all electronics they do not like to be hard mounted. Take car securing all wiring away from any heat source or moving parts.
- Refit any protective covers removed. It is now safe to start your vehicle.
- For Bluetooth connection please follow the instructions. Our app will have to be down loaded; you will then have to register. Once installed the instructions will walk you through the connection process and the access code to complete the connection.
